Terms & Conditions

There maybe some expectations we will not be able to accommodate, if you have any concerns about possible restrictions to our services please contact us as soon as possible. Our terms & conditions are not uncommon, the difference is we are upfront with ours & happy to discuss specific instances where exceptions may be agreed.

By accepting our offer to save your special date & by making your deposit payment to us you agree that you have read, understand & will comply with our terms & conditions.

All passengers are required to wear seat belts for the duration of the journey & otherwise comply with all Scottish & UK laws.

Passengers must not unduly distract drivers or other members of staff from their duties.

Children must be accompanied at all times by a suitably responsible person if not their parent or guardian - this cannot be our driver. The responsibility to provide & fit child seats lies solely with the parent or guardian of the child. Children cannot share seats & must wear a seat belt or the restraints of a child seat while in the vehicle. Children can bring toys & books with them for the duration of the journeys. Any items brought into out vehicles must not have liquid, sharp edges, cutting points or have the possibility of colour transfer or any feature that could otherwise cause damager to our vehicle. Restrictions may mean that some items will be permitted to travel but maybe required to be placed in the boot for the entire journey.

We have a no smoking policy in all our vehicles - we also ask that no naked flames, candles, incense, deodorant, hairspray, nail varnish, makeup or insect repellents are used at any time in any of our vehicles this again isn’t just to protect our vehicles from damage it’s also to help protect our passengers from injury & their clothing from irreversible damage.

We will use all means to plan routes & schedule stops this may include asking the booking contact(s) for their local knowledge or that of passengers if unusual circumstances arise. If we are requested to make an unscheduled stop during any part of a journey for a toilet break or any other reason we can not then accept any responsibility for any lateness to or any increased costs of not meeting time constraints of remaining scheduled stops or the end destination.

Confetti including loose flower petals, party poppers & silly string are not allowed in any of our vehicles, this includes opened packets & remnants of previously dispersed packets / containers. Even when dry confetti, streamers & the like can cause significant colour transfer staining which if any moisture is present can be much worse. This is a little known problem which could have significant issues for an irreplaceable & expensive wedding gown or for the deposit on a hired kilt suit ( not to mention leather seats )

We do not permit the consumption of food & drink in our vehicles other than the supplied still / sparkling mineral water & colour free children’s drinks - the optional champagne reception is intended to be a photographic opportunity to be entirely hosted outside the vehicle. This is not only to protect our vehicles this will also help protect your wedding wardrobe. For longer journeys or special circumstances please speak to us so that we can look into what alternative arrangements can be made.

Intentional or inadvertent damage caused to our vehicles or equipment by a passenger or event guest may result in all further services being withdrawn immediately. We reserve the right to pursue any persons by any legal means to recover all costs involved in repairing or restoring our vehicles or equipment following damage - this may also include loss of earnings from any other affected bookings. Booking contacts ( initial & ongoing ) will be required to provide all relevant information they can reasonably be expected to obtain relating to the identity, contact information & address of any person(s) responsible for any damage.

Abusive or antisocial behaviour carried out by any passenger or event guest towards anyone else including our driver may result in the journey being terminated immediately & all further services being withdrawn. We reserve the right to pursue any persons by any legal means to ensure appropriate actions are taken - this may include the reporting of incidents to the police. Booking contacts ( initial & ongoing ) will be required to provide all relevant information they can reasonably be expected to obtain relating to the identity, contact information & address of any person(s) responsible.

A nominated contact will need to be agreed during the save the date process. This can be different from the person who initially makes the booking but it will only be changed with their authorisation. It is the responsibility of the person making the booking to ensure that any nominated contact ( known as booking contact ) is trustworthy & responsible & that by nominating that person they are then authorised to make decisions on behalf of the person who has made the booking.

On the day we will be prepared to follow the agreed scheduled journey - however it is our vehicles passenger(s) requests that will be followed. We will not follow previously requested journey details if the occupant(s) of the vehicle expresses a clear request not to be taken to the original destination. We will then follow any reasonable route to an alternative destination which would normally not exceed any mileage or time constraints of the initial booking. No refund will be released in this instance regardless if the person changing the details on the day is not the person who has paid for the service. Any actions taken by us under these circumstances are not notifiable at the time to the booking contact & any alternative journey details may not be shared.

A deposit is required for us to save your special date, this is normally £150 for a single car. The amount of the deposit will increase if additional vehicles, excess mileage or services are to be included. The deposit taken will reflect the initial booking we have confirmed & the date that is saved, if additional requests are made that we are unable to fulfill after the booking has been confirmed we will not be able to refund the deposit but will honour our initial agreed booking if required. If at any time we are not able to fulfill a booking we will aim to notify the booking contact & reimburse any payments already made as soon as possible - in the unlikely event of this happening we may also offer to use our contacts to help arrange a suitable replacement service.

Our terms & conditions will be amended from time to time, if a significant change is made which could affect a booking we will inform any existing future booking contacts as soon as possible. We have tried to make our terms & conditions as straightforward as possible - if you have any concerns please contact us.
